About me

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW-R) with over 15 years of experience in the mental health field. Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of working with diverse populations, including women, at-risk youth, veterans, individuals living with chronic illness or disabilities, LGBTQ+ individuals, and racial and ethnic communities. My experience spans several different professional roles and a wide range of clinical settings, including community mental health clinics, in-home counseling programs, residential treatment facilities, and crisis intervention services.

These experiences afforded me a deepened understanding of life’s complexities and reinforced my commitment to providing compassionate, holistic, and deeply respectful care. While I am grateful for these opportunities, I found my true clinical home in private practice several years ago, where I can provide depth-oriented, relational work that aligns with my values and therapeutic approach.

Along the way, I discovered AEDP (Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy), a highly relational, trauma-informed, somatic model that resonated deeply with my values and clinical instincts. I’ve spent over a decade immersed in AEDP, studying under the extensive mentorship of AEDP Institute Senior Faculty, Kate Halliday, LCSW-R, and through the AEDP Institute out of New York City. AEDP continues to shape not only how I practice, but how I understand healing, connection, and the strength that can emerge from vulnerability.

I live in Upstate New York, where I’m also a certified professional dog trainer and canine behavior consultant. My work with animals is a meaningful part of my life and continues to remind me of the power of trust, patience, and connection beyond words. I also find grounding in nature and martial arts—practices that help me stay present, centered, and connected to myself and others.
