Working Together: Referrals, Coordination, & Care Philosophy

Referrals

I welcome referrals from mental health and medical professionals, schools, educational specialists, and community organizations for clients seeking therapy related to anxiety, panic, trauma, depression, relationship challenges, chronic medical issues, and personal growth. I provide a safe, attuned space where individuals can reflect on their experiences and move toward meaningful change. When working with referred clients, I take a collaborative, person-centered approach that honors the therapeutic work already in progress and supports ongoing healing.

Clinical Approach & Affirming Care

I provide inclusive, affirming therapy that honors the diverse identities, cultural backgrounds, and lived experiences each client brings. Grounded in cultural humility and clinical attunement, my work integrates relational, somatic, experiential, and attachment-based approaches—drawing primarily from AEDP (Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy). This allows clients to engage deeply with their emotional experience in a way that fosters insight, resilience, and meaningful change.

I work with individuals across the lifespan (11 years and up) and have a particular focus on supporting women, as well as LGBTQ+ individuals, as they navigate emotional, relational, and systemic challenges. In an affirming and supportive space, I provide opportunities to explore identity, deepen self-understanding, and strengthen relational well-being. My aim is for every client to feel seen, supported, and empowered throughout the course of therapy.

Coordination of Care

As a social worker, I believe in integrated, whole-person care. With client consent, I collaborate with psychiatrists, psychiatric nurse practitioners, primary care providers, schools, and other allied professionals to ensure consistent, coordinated support across treatment settings. I prioritize clear, compassionate communication and shared understanding to foster connection and promote each client’s well-being in all areas of their care.

Supporting Fellow Therapists:
Professional Development, Supervision, & Consultation

AEDP Consultation & Skill-Building Group

Beginning in late summer 2025, I will be offering a virtual AEDP consultation and skill-building group designed specifically for local-area clinicians newer to the model. This group provides a supportive and experiential space to deepen your AEDP understanding, explore clinical questions, and practice experiential skills in a low-pressure environment.

The group is open to clinicians who have completed either the Immersion course through the AEDP Institute or Kate Halliday’s Intro to AEDP series. It will be kept intentionally small to foster meaningful connection and close collaboration, and offered at a modest fee to remain accessible—especially for those working in community mental health settings.

If you’re interested or have questions, please feel free to reach out.

Clinical Supervision & Case Consultation for Mental Health Professionals

I offer clinical supervision for licensed social workers in New York State, supporting clinicians at all stages of their professional journey. I especially enjoy working with early-career therapists as they develop their clinical voice and therapeutic presence, and I also welcome more seasoned practitioners seeking a reflective space for continued growth. My supervision style is collaborative, thoughtful, and rooted in both clinical skill-building and emotional support. It’s particularly well-suited to therapists drawn to relational, experiential, and somatic approaches—including AEDP—as well as other trauma-informed and attachment-based modalities.

In addition, I offer clinical case consultation for therapists, counselors, and other mental health providers—particularly those working with clients navigating anxiety, panic, attachment repair, or those working with individuals who identify as LGBTQ+. These sessions provide space to reflect on clinical dynamics, consider treatment options, and think through next steps when things feel complex or unclear. I bring a relational, trauma-informed lens, with the aim of helping you feel more grounded, resourced, and confident in your clinical work.

I also consult on the clinical application of Emotional Support Animals (ESAs) and Psychiatric Service Dogs (PSDs)—supporting professionals in evaluating client needs, considering ethical implications, navigating documentation, and identifying steps to thoughtfully and effectively integrate these supports when clinically indicated. My goal is to support mindful, ethically grounded decision-making that centers client well-being, while attending to both emotional nuance and practical realities.

Whether you need a fresh perspective or want to talk something through, I’m happy to connect.
